The Tatarstan delegation, led by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan - the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic Marat Akhmetov, was on a working trip to St. Petersburg, where the II International Fishing Industry Forum and Exhibition of the Fishing Industry, Seafood and Technologies were held.
Among the participants are 300 companies and organizations from 50 countries. Products of the fishing industry were presented on an area of 13 thousand square meters.
Among the exhibitors are several Tatarstan companies. For example, “Biosphere-Fish”, which plans to grow five million fry of sterlet and one million trout per year, as well as to develop the fish farming for commercial sturgeon and young pike perch.
Technopark “Idea” presented the project of the Industrial Park “Biotech Chelny”, in the territory of which it is planned to produce up to 40 thousand tons of fish products till 2030: fish planting material, feed, commercial fish, etc.
Head of the Department of Aquatic Bioresources of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan on Bioresources Irina Mustakimova reported to the Information Agency “Tatar-inform” that Dmitry Patrushev and Ilya Shestakov were very interested in fish-breeding projects that are realized by the “Biosphere-Fish” in Laishevsky district and CJSC “Industrial Park “Biotech Chelny”.
The Association of Fishermen of the Republic of Tatarstan was among the participants from Tatarstan, which includes seven legal entities and one individual entrepreneur. The products will be presented by Individual entrepreneur Podgornov A.A. and the head of the LLC “Mamadysh Fish Factory”.
