On the 30th of June 2018, the VIII Youth Forum “Nanograd” started on Russky Island (Vladivostok). Participants of the forum are 255 schoolchildren and students from 24 regions of the country. Together with teachers, scientists, engineers and technology entrepreneurs, they will work on solving cases, real problems and tasks of manufacturing enterprises. At the event Tatarstan and Technopark “Idea” is represented by the rector of the KNRTU (KChTI) Sergey Yushko, who will present programs of the Foundation for the Assistance to Innovation, the activities of technoparks and etc. to the participants of the Nanograd.
It should be noted that the ideas born by schoolchildren during the work of trainee sites are planned to be applied in the future work of the companies. Most cases of this year are related to high-tech materials, advanced production technologies and the introduction of new products to the market.
A significant festival event will be a lecture of the Director of the direction “Young professionals” Dmitry Peskov and the transfer of the relay “Nanograd - Universities of the Future”. During the day, a traditional festival of Nanograd workshops will be held. Its participants will present the results of research, creative and intellectual developments, which were engaged for ten days.
