Today, Technopark “Idea” was visited by the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov with a working visit. Within the framework of the visit, a resident of the Technopark - the group of companies “Eidos” presented to the head of the republic their promising developments: medical simulators and industrial robots.
One of the co-founders of the company Lenar Valeev said that a history of “Eidos” began in 2009 in the Technopark “Idea” with the development and production of robot simulators. To date, the company has withdrawn from the project, and the start-up has evolved to the group of companies consisting of four successful and modern organizations.
Lenar Valeev explained that the turnover of companies in 2017 amounted to 250 million rubles.
The main activity of the residents of Technopark is the production and development of medical simulators. In total, 5 companies work in this direction all over the world. But the oldest medical higher education institution in Japan - the University of Juntendo - is equipped by the simulated equipment developed in Kazan. In October 2016, “Eidos-Medicine” LLC received gratitude from the University of Juntendo in connection with the successful passage of the accreditation of the Joint Commission International (the international “gold” standard in the field of quality and safety for medical institutions), largely due to the use of developments and equipment of the company “Eidos-Medicine” when creating a simulation center by the university. Already by 2017, enterprising entrepreneurs have organized the production of more than 20 types of medical simulators that are delivered to the markets of Europe, Asia, the USA, South America and the CIS countries. During the meeting, Lenar Valeev asked for support when the product is delivered to the markets of the Middle East, where the approach to promotion is closely linked with the state.
As Lenar Valeev noted in a conversation with reporters, Rustam Minnikhanov was particularly interested in the industrial robot project. “During the meeting, they discussed the possibility of cooperation with the corporation “Rostec”. They agreed that the project will be presented at the St. Petersburg Economic Forum at the stand of the Republic of Tatarstan
It should be noted that the equipment of a company “Eidos-Robotics” is installed and operates in 8 cities of Russia, including four factories of a company “Baltika”. The company has key technologies and intellectual property to start the production of domestic robots. Release of the first batch is scheduled for 2019.
To date, new areas of activity are being studied.
