On April 20, 2018 the final of the Republican contest “Erudite of Tatarstan - 2018” was held in Kazan. Schoolchildren from the regions and cities of the republic took part in the event. In total, the first round of the competition gathered 1,150 participants from more than 30 districts of Tatarstan. The most active were schoolchildren from Bugulma, Zelenodolsk, Kazan, Nizhnekamsk. The guys who showed the best results met in the II round.
Traditionally, during the final round, the winners were also nominated in the nomination “Nano-IQ”, which was established by Technopark “Idea” in 2011 and is designed to increase interest in nanotechnology, nanomaterials and nanosystems, and motivate students to deepen and expand their knowledge of current trends in the development of the interdisciplinary field fundamental and applied science and technology. The contestants answered the questions of the organizers. The winner of the nomination was determined by the number of correct answers.
As a result, Rumina Nurmieva (secondary school of Apastovsky district) won the first place, Regina Gainullina (secondary school of Apastovsky district) became the second and Danila Vinnikov (school No. 177, Kazan) took the third place.

Among the 7-9 grades:
1st place - Albina Akhmadullina (Lyceum-boarding school for gifted children with profound study of chemistry named after academician P.A. Kirpichnikov)
2nd place - Maxim Marchenko (Lyceum-boarding school for gifted children with profound study of chemistry named after academician P.A. Kirpichnikov)
3rd place - Vladimir Efimov (Lyceum No. 83 - Center for Education, Kazan).
Among the 10-11 grades:
1st place – Maria Gorobec (Gymnasium No. 94, Kazan);
2nd place - Dilyara Galeeva (School No. 9 with in-depth study of English, Kazan);
3rd place - Veronika Sorokina (school No. 167, Kazan).
