Resident of Technopark “Idea” - Laser Center of the Republic of Tatarstan develops modern training methods and an independent assessment of the professional training of laser technology specialists in accordance with international standards.
The Russian Railways, the United Aircraft Corporation, the Laser Center of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Moscow Metro have already demonstrated intentions to include the form of the WorldSkills demonstration exam in the State Final Certification (SFC) of college graduates in 2018 in three competencies. Applications with relevant requests were sent to the Union “Young Professionals (WorldSkills Russia)”.
Competence “Laser Technologies” is included in the FutureSkills block, and competitions are held annually at the WorldSkillsHi-Tech Championship among young workers of the industrial enterprises of Russia, currently the regional championships of competence are carried out by more than 10 subjects of the Russian Federation.
Conducting the demonstration exam on the competence of Laser technology will be carried out on the basis of State Budget Professional Educational Institution “College of Communications No. 54” named after P.M. Vostrukhin in the amount of 50 people, - explained the manager of the competence Nikolai Nasonov, - it is noteworthy that the teams of colleges in Moscow and the Moscow region were preparing for the championships on the basis of their patronized industrial enterprises. The first WorldSkills Specialized Center for Competence in Laser Technologies will be created in Moscow, the Communication College No. 54 will be equipped with the most advanced laser equipment for the main technological processes (laser cutting, engraving, welding, etc.), which will allow to carry out all events of the WorldSkills Russia Union for the competence of Laser Technologies at the high organizational and methodological level. The leading industrial enterprises of the military-industrial complex, the Russian Federal Atomic Energy Agency, Rostec Corporation and others were chosen as the model of equipment.
The social and economic effect from the activities of the WorldSkills Specialized Center for Competence in Laser Technologies in Moscow will be manifested in the form of increased competitiveness and, correspondingly, sales volumes of enterprises that have introduced laser technologies, and as a result, an increase in the amount of taxes paid by them, a decrease in energy intensity and material intensity of productions, increasing their environmental safety.
The laser community of the CIS countries (Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, etc.) recognizes the demonstration examination according to the standards of the WorldSkills, the corresponding address to the Union “Young professionals” was signed by the President of the Laser Association, Professor, Honoured science worker of the Russian Federation, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences I.B. Kovsh.
We are making maximum efforts to promote competence, for the first time the I Industry Championship on laser technologies will be held on the 27 February - 2 March 2018 at the International Specialized Exhibition of Laser, Optical and Optoelectronic Technology “Photonics. The World of Lasers and Optics-2018”.

A special direction of WorldSkills Juniors has been allocated in the Union “Young Professionals”, to which we place great hopes, within the framework of an Agreement on Cooperation between the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, ITMO University and we are developing specialized programs, including for a New Model of Additional Education for Children “Children’s Technoparks Quantorium”. In early November, the concept of the mobile Quantorium was presented to the President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin.
