The press service of the KFU reports that the series of seminars and presentations of the programs “UMNIK” and “START” of the Foundation for the Assistance of Innovation was held in the Kazan State University.
For two days the seminar brought together almost 50 representatives of Kazan Federal University, Kazan National Research Technological University – Kazan Chemical and Technological Institute and Kazan Power Energy University, wishing to participate in the programs of the Foundation for the Assistance of Innovation and the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The seminar was organized by the KFU together with the representative of the Foundation for the Assistance of Innovation in Tatarstan - Technopark “Idea”. Farida Gainullina, the head of the Department for the Development of Innovative Programs of the Technopark “Idea”, noted in her speech that depending on the stage of elaboration of the idea, everyone can find their own development trajectory in the Foundation for the Assistance of Innovation and get funding for its implementation and called on everyone to try their hand.
The program “UMNIK” is a support for talented youth, focused on innovation activity. Participants of the program are young scientists aged 18 to 28 years old. The best projects receive financial support in the amount of 500 thousand rubles for two years. Program “Start” is a support of small innovative enterprises in the seeding stage with annual revenues of up to 2 million rubles.
We remind you that in the Kazan Federal University from October 25 to 27, 2017 there will be a semi-final qualifying competition under the program “UMNIK” - “School of the Young Innovator”. Applications are accepted until October 22, 2017.
