The creation of the pharmaceutical cluster is being discussed in Tatarstan. The main idea of the project “Pharmapolis of the Republic of Tatarstan” is to attract profile companies in the Republic of Tatarstan as residents of sites with special economic conditions.
Technopark “Idea”, Special Economic Zones “Innopolis” and “Alabuga” can become such platforms. On the eve, the creation of a management system and allocation of areas for the placement of pharmaceutical industries have been discussed on the meeting of the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan Albert Karimov. Oleg Ibragimov, Director of Innovation of Technopark “Idea”, also took part in the meeting.
Note that in 2016, the pharmaceutical market of Tatarstan grew by 7.3% to 31.3 billion rubles. Last year, in Tatarstan, there was a slight increase in pharmacies by 1.45%. In 2015, its number was 1,791, in 2016 – 1,817.
Recall that Technopark “Idea” has experience in this direction. September 8, 2016 a solemn transfer of the laboratory and industrial complex and a land plot under it from Technopark “Idea” and the Nanotechnology Center for the implementation of the project “Sistems of drug delivery based on nanotechnology” of the company Nanopharm Development took place in the Technopolis “Himgrad”. The company develops and manufactures innovative targeted drugs. It is designed to treat cancer, HIV and to support the patient’s body after transplanting organs and tissues. The modern automated production line allows to exclude the personnel contact with the produced medicines.
