Student Symposium of techno creators of Tatarstan and the Volga region will be held from 19 to 24 April, 2017 in the Kazan National Research Technical University – Kazan Aviation Institute (KNRTU-KAI).
In the framework of the Symposium a semifinal event under the UMNIK program will be held for young scientists on April 21, 2017.
The program is aimed at the search, selection and realization of scientific ideas. The contest participants are registered on the website http://umnik.fasie.ru/ for one of the accredited activities. Further on the full-time performance the participant within 5 minutes presents his project to the commission and answers questions from jury members. The project is evaluated according to the following criteria: scientific novelty, its relevance, the prospect of commercialization and enthusiasm for the idea by the speaker. The winners of the program receive up to 500,000 rubles for the embodiment of their ideas.
