Today, more than 100 representatives of AIESEC from 15 Russian cities (students and recent graduates) have gathered in Kazan at the Annual Winter National Congress. Participants of the congress will determine the prospects for development of the organization in 2017.
Within the first day of the Congress, which was held in Technopark “Idea”, speakers and participants of the forum discussed the trends in the modern world and the role of the young generation in it.
“Youth is a driving force of change. And that is why it is so important that young people represent their interests in public organizations, implementing socially important projects in the context of significant economic impact”, - noted Dilbar Sadykova, head of the Academy of Youth Diplomacy, participant in a panel discussion about current trends in entrepreneurship.
The speakers of the Congress were 11 representatives of different sectors of society - entrepreneurs, scientists, members of public organizations, including Evgeny Malikov (head of department of external relations of Technopark “Idea”), Stanislav Protasov (researcher of University “Innopolis”), Artem Kogdanin (founder of company LEDEL).
In addition, part of the Congress program began sessions on the topics of social entrepreneurship, fundraising projects, building business models that are in demand for today’s market.
The remaining days of the Winter National Congress will be held in the framework of the outdoor event, where the decisive councils of “AIESEC in Russia” will develop strategies for the development of its local offices in 2017.
