Working meeting of the heads of departments in the direction of “Unmanned vehicles” of the scientific and technical center of PJSC “KAMAZ”, entrepreneurs with CEO of Technopark “Idea”, a representative of the Foundation for Assistance of Innovation in Tatarstan Sergey Yushko took place on 24 October 2016 in Naberezhnye Chelny. The participants of the meeting discussed the latest queries of “KAMAZ” and what solutions to these queries can be offered by small business. Also at the meeting they discussed the contest “Development-NTI”. Special attention was paid to the direction of AutoNet, which is designed for the market of unmanned vehicles and based on the development of sensor systems, software for the recognition of road scenes and road transport management.
It should be noted that the meeting was organized by the Foundation of Regional Innovative Projects – the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia (AIRR) and the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan within the framework of cooperation of the republic with the Foundation for Assistance of Innovation.
Business portal “Real’noe vremya” reports that it is planned to build an unmanned network of logistics transport between plants of KAMAZ in Naberezhnye Chelny. In the first place the network will connect pressing-stamping and automotive plants. The chief designer on innovative products Sergey Nazarenko and staff of the innovation center of KAMAZ told reporters about plans to create the unmanned network.
For the movement of unmanned vehicles will be used existing internal roads. It is also planned to create a dispatch post of movement control and for remote control. It is planned to test the drone network in the second half of 2017.
